Rosa Diemont – Landscape restoration and forestry expert
“I want to take a holistic approach to the challenges our globe currently faces. It gives me much satisfaction to find practical solutions together with farmers and communities to restore and protect Ghana’s Forest Reserves and ecosystems in which we live and are part of.”
At Form International, Rosa works on the design and implementation of forest landscape restoration programmes in Africa and Latin-America. Currently she is involved in the setup of Form’s new company in Peru, building the team, and the implementation of the outgrower programme and community relation management. The past years, she fulfilled the role of programme manager for Landscape Restoration Programme for Forest Reserve Tain II in Ghana, a joint initiative of Form International and Form Ghana. Amongst others, she was responsible for the implementation and piloting of innovative reforestation and agroforestry systems, even as the development of trainings, improving the market linkage for farmers, leading the landscape governance board, and coordination of the community fire management project.
