New Chapters about Congo Basin go Worldwide in The Book That Grows Like A Tree
Friday 22 April 2016 was Earth Day. On Earth Day new chapters of Central African Forests Forever, The Book That Grows Like A Tree, were presented by author Meindert Brouwer. You can read these chapters for free at www.centralafricanforests.org
They include an eyewitness report about sustainable management of tropical forest in the Republic of Congo, according to FSC-standards.
Saving tropical forests is one of the priorities of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change that was signed on Earth Day. The eyewitness report in the book makes clear how this takes place in practice. Enjoy the pictures!
The book grows in other ways too, international attention has already resulted in a top 15 position in more than 12,800,000 Google entries when one searches Central African Forests.
